Refund Policy
Effective Date: August 21, 2026
This Refund Policy applies to tickets and admissions sold for VIVA Taco Festival and related VIVA events operated by Project Taco LLC.
ALL TICKET SALES ARE FINAL
All ticket sales are final.
Once a ticket, registration, upgrade, add-on, or other admission product has been purchased, it may not be returned, exchanged, or refunded except where a refund is required by applicable law or expressly authorized by Project Taco LLC.
Please review your event date, ticket type, quantity, and order information carefully before completing your purchase.
NO REFUNDS FOR CHANGE OF PLANS
Refunds will not be provided because of circumstances including, but not limited to:
- Change of plans
- Scheduling conflicts
- Illness or inability to attend
- Travel delays
- Transportation issues
- Failure to attend the event
- Failure to use all or part of a ticket
- Purchasing the wrong ticket type
- Purchasing tickets for the wrong date
- Personal dissatisfaction with event programming
- Changes to individual performers, vendors, attractions, activities, appearances, schedules, or programming
Tickets may not be exchanged for a future VIVA event unless expressly authorized by Project Taco LLC.
WEATHER POLICY
VIVA Taco Festival is a rain, snow, heat, or shine event.
Weather conditions alone do not entitle a ticket holder to a refund.
The event may continue during rain, heat, cold, wind, or other weather conditions when event organizers determine that conditions allow the event to proceed.
For the safety of attendees, staff, participants, vendors, and performers, Project Taco LLC may delay, suspend, relocate, modify, shorten, or cancel portions of the event because of extreme or dangerous weather.
Refunds resulting from a weather-related cancellation will be handled in accordance with applicable law and these terms.
EVENT CHANGES
VIVA Taco Festival is a live event, and schedules, performers, vendors, attractions, activities, layouts, operating hours, and other event elements are subject to change.
The removal, substitution, delay, cancellation, or rescheduling of an individual performer, attraction, vendor, activity, competition, or other portion of the event does not constitute cancellation of the entire event and will not normally qualify the ticket holder for a refund.
RESCHEDULED EVENTS
If VIVA Taco Festival or a related ticketed event is rescheduled, tickets will generally remain valid for the rescheduled event or date.
Unless otherwise announced by Project Taco LLC or required by applicable law, rescheduling does not automatically entitle a ticket holder to a refund.
EVENT CANCELLATION
If Project Taco LLC cancels an entire ticketed event, any refund, credit, replacement ticket, or other remedy will be determined in accordance with applicable law and the circumstances surrounding the cancellation.
Where applicable law requires a refund following cancellation, Project Taco LLC or the applicable ticket provider will issue the required refund in accordance with that law.
Refund obligations may be subject to legally permitted exceptions, including certain cancellations caused by force majeure, extraordinary circumstances beyond the control of the event organizer, declared emergencies, or extreme or dangerous weather affecting an outdoor or open-air event.
FORCE MAJEURE
Project Taco LLC will not be responsible for failure, delay, interruption, modification, or cancellation caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control, to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law.
Such circumstances may include:
- Acts of God
- Extreme or dangerous weather
- Fire
- Flood
- Earthquake
- Natural disaster
- Epidemic or public-health emergency
- War
- Terrorism or threats of terrorism
- Civil unrest or riots
- Strikes or labor disruptions
- Government orders or restrictions
- Venue closures or failures
- Utility or infrastructure failures
- Public-safety emergencies
- Acts or orders of public authorities
- Other extraordinary events beyond the reasonable control of Project Taco LLC
Any refund or other remedy available following such an occurrence will be determined in accordance with applicable law.
THIRD-PARTY FEES AND PURCHASES
Tickets may be sold or processed through third-party ticketing or payment platforms.
Certain processing, service, delivery, or other third-party fees may be governed by the terms of the applicable provider.
Purchases made directly from independent vendors, exhibitors, food vendors, merchandise sellers, sponsors, or other third parties at or in connection with VIVA Taco Festival are subject to the refund policies of those individual sellers and not this Refund Policy.
UNAUTHORIZED OR RESOLD TICKETS
Project Taco LLC is not responsible for tickets purchased through unauthorized third-party sellers.
Tickets obtained through unauthorized sources may be counterfeit, invalid, duplicated, or otherwise unusable. VIVA is not responsible for refunds, replacements, or losses associated with unauthorized ticket purchases.
CHARGEBACKS
If you believe there is an error involving your ticket purchase, please contact us before initiating a chargeback or payment dispute so that we have an opportunity to review the issue.
Fraudulent or improper payment disputes may result in the cancellation of associated tickets or registrations to the extent permitted by law.
