Get ready for the most fun soccer event of the year! The VIVA Soccer Tournament is a 3-day community soccer tournament inside VIVA Taco Fest, where soccer, music, food, and culture come together for one unforgettable weekend.
This is a fun, non-sanctioned tournament open to everyone—club teams, recreational teams, intraclub squads, school teams, or simply a group of friends ready to compete and have a blast.

2. Who can participate in the VIVA Soccer Tournament?
The tournament is open to boys and girls from U7 through U16, with multiple competition divisions planned to help create balanced and exciting matchups.
Club teams, recreational teams, intraclub squads, school teams, and even groups of friends are welcome to register.
3. Is the VIVA Soccer Tournament sanctioned?
No. VIVA Soccer is a fun, non-sanctioned community tournament.
That means teams from different backgrounds can come together, compete, and enjoy the weekend without needing to be part of a specific league or organization.
4. What format will the games use?
Games will be played in a fast-paced 4v4 format with no goalkeepers.
The smaller field and short matches are designed to keep the action moving, create more scoring opportunities, and make every game exciting from the first whistle to the last.
5. How will teams be placed into divisions and brackets?
Teams will be placed into divisions based on age and other registration details.
Final brackets will be created after team registration closes and all participating teams have been reviewed. Once finalized, teams will be able to visit the brackets page to see their division, matchup, and game information.
6. When will the tournament brackets be posted?
Brackets will be posted closer to the festival after registration is complete and all teams have been placed.

7. When will game times and the tournament schedule be announced?
The full game schedule, including match times and field assignments, will be shared once the brackets have been finalized.

Yes. The tournament will include awards, giveaways, and special prizes.
There will also be recognition for creativity, including prizes for the best costumes. So bring your skills, your team spirit, and maybe a look the whole sideline will remember.
9. Do players and teams get access to VIVA Taco Fest?
The tournament takes place inside VIVA Taco Fest, giving teams the chance to enjoy tacos, live entertainment, Día de los Muertos activities, family fun, and more between matches.

10. What should teams expect on tournament weekend?
Expect fast games, constant action, plenty of cheering from the sidelines, and a full fiesta happening around the fields.
