VIVA TACO FEST FAQs

VIVA Taco Fest is held at Craig Ranch Regional Park in North Las Vegas, Nevada. For three days, the park will be filled with tacos, music, rides, competitions, cultural traditions, and plenty of reasons to say, “¡Vámonos!”

Expect a little bit of everything and a lot of tacos. VIVA Taco Fest brings together live music, cultural performances, carnival rides, vendors, family activities, competitions, tequila tasting experiences, and Día de los Muertos traditions. There will be something happening around every corner.

Sí, the whole familia is invited. Kids and adults can enjoy carnival rides, activities, live entertainment, food vendors, cultural displays, and special events throughout the park. Bring the family, bring your appetite, and plan to make a day of it.

The weekend will be packed with events, including the Taco Eating Competition, Lucha Libre wrestling, Catrina Competition, Chihuahua Races and Beauty Competition, VIVA Soccer Tournament, VIVA Los Muertos 5K Glow Run, and the 360 Carshow. You can also explore altars, memorial displays, carnival rides, vendors, and live entertainment.

Some competitions and special events require separate registration or tickets, so be sure to check the individual event details before attending.

Of course. It would not be VIVA Taco Fest without plenty of tacos. Guests can look forward to a variety of taco vendors, food options, beverages, craft vendors, and cultural vendors throughout the festival. The full vendor lineup will be announced closer to the event.

Sí. Alcoholic beverages will be available during VIVA Taco Fest, along with a dedicated Tequila Tasting experience.

Guests who want to participate in the Tequila Tasting can purchase a separate Tequila Tasting ticket without purchasing VIP. The ticket is valid for one festival day of your choice. Tequila Tasting ticket holders must check in at the Will Call booth to receive their credentials.
Age requirements apply to all alcohol-related experiences.

VIVA Taco Fest offers several ways to experience the weekend, including General Admission, VIP, and a separate Tequila Tasting ticket.

VIP includes festival admission along with upgraded perks and access to the VIP experience. Guests who only want to participate in the Tequila Tasting can purchase a separate Tequila Tasting ticket, which is valid for any one festival day of their choice.

VIP and Tequila Tasting ticket holders must check in at the Will Call booth to receive their credentials.

Some competitions and special events, including the VIVA Soccer Tournament, VIVA Los Muertos 5K Glow Run, and 360 Carshow, have separate registration requirements.

Absolutely. The music, performances, competitions, and Lucha Libre action will keep the energy going all weekend long. The full lineup is still coming together, but one thing is certain: this will not be the kind of festival where you sit around wondering what to do next.

Some VIVA Taco Fest experiences have their own tickets or registration. The VIVA Soccer Tournament, VIVA Los Muertos 5K Glow Run, 360 Carshow, Tequila Tasting, and select competitions may require separate registration or a separate ticket.

Saturday is Cars & Tacos, an all-genre car and truck show where every make, model, style, and crew has a place.

Expect imports, domestics, Euros, classics, muscle cars, exotics, mini trucks, lifted and lowered trucks, modern builds, and old-school rides. There will also be 40+ award categories, team awards, a limbo competition, entertainment, vendors, photo opportunities, and plenty of tacos.

Sunday turns the spotlight to the Día de los Muertos Lowrider Show, bringing together lowriders, hydraulics, murals, pinstriping, chrome, community altars, cultural displays, and car-club pride.

All makes and models are still welcome, so you do not need a lowrider to roll in and be part of the day.

Sí. The 360 Carshow welcomes the full car community, including imports, domestics, lowriders, classics, exotics, muscle cars, mini trucks, motorcycles, bikes, lifted trucks, lowered trucks, and custom builds.

Motorcycles and bikes can be registered for both Saturday and Sunday. Different styles and generations are what make the show worth walking, so bring the ride that represents you.

Yes. Vehicle registration is open now, and participants should lock in their spot before the show fills up.

You will be asked to choose the day you want to enter and provide information about your vehicle and team during registration.

Absolutely. Car clubs are encouraged to roll in together, represent their team, and bring the whole crew.

Saturday will include community team awards and recognition for the largest team representation, so this is not the weekend to leave half the club at home.

Saturday will feature more than 40 award categories, community team awards, a largest-team award, and a limbo competition.

Sunday will include Top 50 awards and recognition for the best Día de los Muertos altar. Specialty awards, club challenges, and details about the official Car Hop Competition are coming soon.

Car-show registration includes festival admission for the registered driver and one guest.

Your guest must arrive with you at the time of Roll In to receive admission. Any additional guests will need their own VIVA Taco Fest tickets.

Of course. You do not need a show car to enjoy 360 Carshow Weekend.

Spectators can walk the show, check out the builds, cheer for the competitions, take photos, enjoy VIVA Taco Fest food and entertainment, and spend the day surrounded by chrome, culture, and car-club pride.

Sí. The 360 Carshow takes place inside VIVA Taco Fest, so guests can enjoy tacos, food vendors, live entertainment, vendor row, models, photo opportunities, cultural displays, and the rest of the festival throughout the weekend.

Come for the cars, stay for the tacos, and leave with a camera roll full of rides you wish were parked in your driveway.

Everyone is welcome. The VIVA Los Muertos 5K is open to all ages and fitness levels, including runners, walkers, families, first-timers, and experienced racers.

Come ready to run for a personal best, walk with your familia, or simply enjoy the experience at your own pace.

Sí. You can walk, jog, run, or do a little bit of all three.

This is not the kind of race where you have to leave half the family behind. Bring your kids, your cousins, your tías, or whoever is ready to move through the course with you.

Yes. The event will be professionally timed, and registered participants will receive an official chip-timed race bib.

You can race the clock, chase a personal best, or finally settle who is actually the fastest cousin in the family.

The VIVA Los Muertos 5K will take place at Craig Ranch Regional Park as part of VIVA Taco Fest.

Participants can expect a festive race-day atmosphere inspired by Día de los Muertos, with the celebration continuing throughout the festival after the run.

Register by October 18 to guarantee your exclusive VIVA Los Muertos 5K event shirt.

Participants who register after October 18 may still be able to participate in the 5K, but an event shirt is not guaranteed.

VIVA Trunk or Treat is a family-friendly night of decorated trunks, candy, costumes, and fall fun for the whole familia.

Yes. Families should register in advance to attend VIVA Trunk or Treat. Registration is free, but signing up ahead of time helps us prepare for everyone joining the fun.

Sí! The event is designed for families and kids to enjoy together, with plenty of candy, decorated trunks, costumes, and festive activities.

Absolutely! Kids are encouraged to come dressed up and ready to collect candy throughout the event.

Yes. VIVA Trunk or Treat kicks off VIVA weekend on Friday, October 30, before VIVA Taco Fest continues through November 1 at Craig Ranch Regional Park.

Registration is available online through the VIVA website. Be sure to sign up before the event and get ready for a fun night with the familia.

The tournament is open to boys and girls U5 through U18.

Teams will be placed into appropriate divisions and brackets based on age and registration information.

Registration fees are per team, not per player.

One registration covers your team’s entry into the VIVA Soccer Tournament.

Teams need a minimum of four players to start and can have a maximum roster of eight players.

Four players will be on the field at a time.

Games will be played in a fast-paced 4v4 format.

With four players on the field for each team, the format keeps the action moving and gives players plenty of opportunities to stay involved throughout each match.

Teams will be placed into official divisions and brackets based on age and the information provided during registration.

Final brackets and matchup information will be posted once registration and team placement are complete.

Game times, field assignments, and the full tournament schedule will be shared after brackets have been finalized.

Teams should be prepared to play on both Saturday and Sunday. Tournament schedules and game times are subject to change, so teams should continue checking for updates as VIVA weekend gets closer.

Yes. Tournament awards will be available for qualifying divisions.

Award details will depend on the final tournament divisions and brackets.

Yes. VIVA Taco Fest admission is included for each registered player.

Players can enjoy the festival along with the soccer tournament throughout the weekend.

Yes. Teams should be prepared to play matches on both Saturday, October 31 and Sunday, November 1.

Teams are also responsible for arriving on time for all scheduled matches, so coaches and team managers should review the final tournament schedule closely once it is released.
